VIZZable Ableton Live VJ plugins 0.9.2 & V-Module 0.4

Max4Live for Ableton has opened up great scope of possibilities for AV artists to apply visual elements via dynamic framwork – MAX/MSP/Jitter to bring new dimension to Ableton Live Performance with video Component.

In the recent development, update for a number of projects in this field has been updated which currently resides on Google groups:

In particular:

VIZZable Ableton Live VJ plugins 0.9.2 ( by Robert Jarvis)

and

V-Module 0.4 (by Fabrizio Poce)

Both of these plug-ins have been co-produced to understand one another and work in sync in many cases as they use the similar architecture while growing group of artists continue to add new patches and develop new ideas via Google JitterinMax4Live Group

Tetris Studios – Your Perfect space for all your Rehearsal Studios, Recording Studios needs in Melbourne

In the last few days I had spend most of my time working away with the crew @ Tetris Studios, Bruinswick (Melbourne Australia).

For those that not aware, Tetris Studios has been established in Melbourne, bruinswick since September 2009 and since then has been a focus point among creative music community in Melbourne as a dedicated space to Rehearsal Studios, Recording Studios, Performance Space & Multimedia Production on top of offering PA & Lighting hire service to events and also running side shop for Pro Audio & Gear.

At present moment there are some great resident producers that actively producing great music across variety of genres and in turn create very creative and happening place. Some of the current producer residents are; Muska, Kurt Cocaine, Wassabi, Kodiak Kid, Jonny Hooves, Maximil and many regular guests and travelling artists.

Under the same roof you can also find -Mixed Messages – An agency dedicated to Events Management (National and International Touring), Booking Management and Artists Management with a busy list of upcoming events for the year 2011.

On a regular basis @ Tetris you can also find Youth programs and Music related Training Seminars which help new and established artists push they skills to the next level. If you ever in Melbourne, come and visit.

After a crankin show on the 19th we are back on Freaky Fridaze the 23rd April to proudly present another round of VIBEbrations @ the Vibe bar.

This night will once again showcase the finest local artists within the record label industry. With local label legends SUSPEKT (Open Records) and MISTA KIFFSTA (Freakquency Records) SALAMANGKERO (Local Legend) and MARTIAN with his album launch the local boys will be ripping up the dancefloor with sum serious stompers and proving the power of our locally based Record Labels. With 2 Massive Visual screens projected by VJ VDMO KSTATI and 10,000 watts of crystal clear sound they will driving the vibrating dance floor with Doors opening @ 9pm with double the vibes from 9-11..

Please arrive early to ensure entry as VIBEbrations has a limited capacity and a full house is expected.

Winter Solstice – Cairns 2010 – 1st Announcements

Only 83 Days to go till Cairns Winter Solstice 2010 (June 18th -21st) is upon us and anticipation grows day by day. First set of announcements have been released today and already its looking as epic as ever!

Some of the Music artists which will feature this year’s festival will include;

Erphun, Frechback, Pan Electric, Tetrameth, ShadowFX, SunControlSpecies, Claude Hay, The Mollusk, Bent Intent, Grouch, Chocolate Strings, Faeorin, Zennith, Danni B, Sun In Aquarious, One Tasty Morsel, The Stickleback and many more to be released as it gets closer to the date.

Tribute to Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson music legacy as well as his generous input through music to the world has mesmerised millions of people throughout the world and it won’t be forgotten in a hurry.  To me personally he was an Inspiration.  Firstly as an Artist, Dancer, Performer, Songwriter, Visionary and Outstanding Singer who brought so much love to the world that will be felt for years to come.
