Quite a busy week-end ahead on the live visual front for me. Its great! This week-end is a start of an amazing festival up in North Queensland called – Land Crabs – Outdoor Cancerial Celbration.  Im performing on the 17th of July which is Friday night as – vdmo Kstati and following night you can see vj plankton covering over Saturday night.

INTERPULSE – RICHIE MANTRIX (Live – Open Records – Melb)

Interpulse is Richard Hinkson. Residing in Melbourne, Richie has a 20 year association with the Australian music scene.

Best known as one half of legendary live tribal trance act Mantrix, one of Australia’s longest running and most successful acts, over the years Richie has played at nearly every major Australian outdoor festival including Rainbow Serpent, Earthcore, Tribeadelic, Earth Freq and many more. Together with his studio partner Ben, they produced 6 albums on various labels before the completion of their partnership in 2007 – paving the way for Richie’s solo project Interpulse to take formation at the beginning 2008. The fresh sound is focused cutting edge deep progressive music, combining sweeping trance FX, driving techno basslines and layered tribal percussions – all wound together with a distinct Australian outdoor festival vibe and strong dancefloor focus. http://www.myspace.com/interpulse

Ones and Zeros is Simon Field, based in Melb he enjoys the good things in life like cold beers and good vibes.
With a release on the “Polynated” C.D from Hunab Ku Creations, Simon’s sound is a rich tapestry of warm, floating melodies and stuctures driven by intelligent dub rhythm’s and basslines.
He’s currently working on several projects from Dub to Trance to Chill to Experimental Techno.

Spillun is Dhillon Tiffin, born January the 29, 1986. After growing up in tasmania for most of his child life he moved to the beautiful area of byron bay . After finishing school Tiffin moved in with good mates Luke Gill (aka Strange Planet) and Jerome Canabou (aka Short Circut) were he started to listen to PSYCHEDELIC TRANCE. After going to a few trance parties Dhillon started collecting music and learning to mix and before long he started playing gig’s and his mates began showing him all they knew about music production.

As time went by Tiffin began a project with Dream Weaver and Stange Planet called Polka. Eventually they went there seperate ways and Spliffun was born. Since then he has played at major festivals like SPLENDER IN THE GRASS, SOTOPIA FESTIVAL, EXODUS,WINTER SOLSTICE NNSW and CAIRNS, SUPER FREAK and EARTHFREQ as well as countless other small parties.
