The year started with a bang and a bit of a rain, which believe me, dont spoil the party atmosphere. For New Years eve. Cairns City Council had organised a series of activities on a stretch of the Esplanade for NYE festivities with two music stages, joy rides, food stalls for everyone to come and enjoy. Typically to a North Queensland new years weather you could bet that it will be wet and so it was. Despite the fact, people rocked up to the city in they thousands and had plenty to see and check out.
My role was to do visuals for few hours of visuals with approach to new years eve at the stage where they had few DJs playing that evening. Operating from the front of the house, I had pretty good view of the party and luckily was protected from the weather as it showered regularly.
The show went basically without a hitch. Music was to keep people dancing and all djs I though did a good job.
Last friday I was performing @ Gilligans nightclub with everyone’s anticipation for Infected Mushroom Show.
Its an honour to be part of this project and so my thanks goes out to Fireart Entertainment and Gilligans nightclub for making it happen…and also thanks to my friends ay FestivalVision for doing some amazing video feed work. Shane, Justin, Craigos and Sanaz..
Was awesome production and many other great artists have played great music and put on a great show. Subhuman Funk, a new formation of a group of artists had brough the house down as they warmed up before Infected mushroom.

Well.. It has been a good time break from festivals performance. Last being Illumination just little over a month ago. Needed that break to readjust my content, try out new technologies through R&D and generally have a break and do other non vj things. At the moment I’m feeling freshen up, now its time again to get back into a thick of it.
This week-end is the beginning of such season, starting of with Earthdance – Far North Queensland.
As an annual dance event which takes places all over the world towards world peace, Earthdance has gained much awareness and attracts thousands upon thousands of people across the world to share the moment and dance for peace Most of the events happen on the same week-end, so global energy adds its element to the cause.
Very happy to be on the line up, also performing along side Plankton and Phrosporous (vjs).
Over last week-end I had the pleasure to perform visuals as part of Illumination (Cairns) – White Party which was brought by Silver Gem and it had its 10th Anniversary since the inception in 1999. The event is a brain child of Deano & Venus who had put a lot of effort and vision to make and keep making this event reality year after year. I want to thank them dearly for they efforts.
This was my first time to perform at this show, even though I nearly made into the line up for the last year, this was the time. The event itself attracts somewhat diffrent audience to what you’d normally see at outdoor bush events in North Queensland which was a nice change as it brings new crowd to electronic music and arts for people to enjoy.
I was booked to do live vj’ing work on main stage along side Blakey (vj Phrosporous) and a string of local and nation talent with amazing sound, light and lazer rigs to boot. Continue reading »
No words can describe it! Winter Solstice is a truly wonderful event that holds thousands of close friends that venture out for the 4 day getaway and amazing experience whilst among the nature with clear skies, foggy mornings, cool nights and warm days. Music! Music is on a nother level, being completely blessed with healthiest line up we all could experience in ages, progression of artists would be described as cream upon cream upon cream.
This year I was fortunate enough to work with my good friends and colleagues in visual department. This along provided for some amazing visual combination and creative outlet as far as various visuals styles are concerned. LSBeatz Grand Opening was a great success. This morning I had decided to put few of the short clips I filmed from Saturday night night and put them here to see for everyone. Hope you enjoy. The clip doesn’t feature Spiral Soundsystem or Soljah, but let me assure you that sets they played were awesome.
Only few days to go till the launch of anticipated : LSBeatz event. The action will take will take place at amazingly lush Ellis beach on Saturday the 18th of April. The spot can be easily found as you drive up from Cairns towards Port Douglas, so there are no chances that you will get lost. Impossible!!!

Melbourne. What a lovely city. Having lived here previously, most places and locations around the inner city locations do bring some memories, yet ever still the city centre has seriously thrived with plenty of new buildings rising up to fill the city skies.
It also happens to be a Grand Prix week-end which adds little exra colour to the place, currently working from Prahan area I can clearly hear the sounds of F1’s in the distance going… “Whaaaaaaaaaaammmm mmmmm mmm mmm”, amazing waste of fuel I think. On top of that, I believe AFL season is also in full swing as multiple people were walking from some game last night and as week ticks over to Monday – Melbourne Comedy Festival will welcome anyone and everyone for a share of laughter. Plenty of things to see and do.
My personal reason for being here at present is to perform at brand new night called – Allience Technique. The venue selected for it is very lovely and has a lot of characted with a killer sound system. When you get to Flinders street, turn left and walk along the sidewalk till you get to Platform One, diffrently unique concept placed under the dephs of Train Station. During the day you can clearly hear the trains, while at night its all about the music.
My set will be fairly long tonight, at some guess I’d picture it to be from around midnight till 7am or there abouts. Music wise, expect a lot ot tecno, tech house, minimal type gear to keep you going. Great line up of artists featuring : Fusion (Brisbane), Manuel C(Italy) and Damien Cain(ex QLD/ now Melb) well and me
If you mention word “Elle” its for the open guestlist which is $10, otherwise its $15.

p.s Tomorrow night- Saturday there is also little going away party for vj Netz, who is going overseas. The get together will be @ Ffour, so come and say hi also.
